Description
The purpose of Pet Pig Cytra-Med is to provide an acidification program that will lower the pH of the gastro-intestinal tract. Since Cytra-Med inhibits the activity of the (negative) bad bacteria, while providing positive (good) bacteria for its replacement. It is able to totally eliminate or significantly reduce the chances of urinary tract infection in the pet pig.
Most feeds do not contain an acidification program., All pot belly pigs need this for control of urinary tract problems.
By lowering the pH of the digestive system and the urinary tract, Cytra-Med will significantly reduce or totally eliminate the incidence of urinary tract infection, which can cause serious blockages. This will decrease the bacterial burden with the digestive system, thus relieving the pet pig of additional stresses. Cytra-Med has a vanilla flavoring for high palatability.
Feeding Directions: Top dress daily on feed. One (1) scoop per 30 pounds of body weight.

At our sanctuary, we have two pigs who rely on this! We’ve tried multiple supplements for them, but this has been a lifesaver… literally. They love the taste, and it not only balances the Ph of the urine, but also helps with digestive issues.
